Jiangmen is located in the south-central part of Guangdong Province, with an area of 9,541 square kilometers and a population of 4.15 million. Possessing a comprehensive industrial infrastructure, from conventional processing to Hi-tech industry, it is a key component of the Pearl River Delta---one of the world¨s largest manufacturing centers. Jiangmen has formed some pillar industries, including machinery and equipment manufacturing, electronic and electrical appliance production, textiles and garment production, paper and paper products, food processing, and construction materials production.
Jiangmen has 12 nationally recognized industrial bases. Jiangmen will step up developing the heavy and chemical industries like middle and lower-stream petrochemical processing, equipment manufacturing , steel processing and etc.
In Jiangmen, the resources of land, water and electricity are ample. Moreover, the costs of commercial real estate, labor, electricity and etc. are lower than those of any other regions of the Pearl River Delta.
